Senior Engineer - MS, Asset Management

About the role

Senior Engineer - MS, Asset Management at NTT DATA in Mumbai. Responsible for second-line support across Cloud, Security, Networking, Applications, and Collaboration domains, ensuring IT infrastructure remains operational. Proactively monitors, investigates, and resolves technical incidents, maintaining SLA compliance. Requires Bachelor's in IT or related field, 4+ years asset management experience, strong understanding of asset management principles, proficiency with asset management tools, analytical and problem-solving skills, effective communication, regulatory knowledge, business acumen, contract negotiation, vendor management, and cross-functional collaboration. On-site role in Mumbai.

What you’ll do

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in asset management
• Strong understanding of asset management principles, methodologies, and best practices.
• Proficiency in using asset management tools and software to track, manage, and optimize asset inventory.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze asset-related data and trends.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to asset management.
• Strong business acumen and the ability to align asset management strategies with overall business goals.
• Experience with contract negotiation and vendor management is a plus.
• Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder relationships.
