About the role

Engineering & AI team at Get Well Network builds a cloud‑native healthcare platform and drives AI‑First software engineering practices. The Staff Software Engineer leads architecture, mentors engineers, and integrates AI‑augmented development tools to improve productivity and quality. Bengaluru, India, on‑site role with hybrid collaboration across product, AI, and compliance teams.

What you’ll do

• Define and drive architecture of scalable healthcare platforms
• Champion AI‑First engineering practices and AI‑augmented development workflows
• Lead adoption of AI tools such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot, and LLM‑based assistants
• Mentor engineers and establish coding, security, and AI governance standards
• Design and implement cloud‑native microservices on AWS/Azure/GCP
• Collaborate with product, AI, UX, and compliance teams to deliver HIPAA‑compliant solutions
• Evaluate emerging AI technologies and integrate them into the development lifecycle
• Drive measurable improvements in engineering productivity through responsible AI adoption

What you’ll bring

• 10+ years software development
• 2+ years technical leadership
• Experience with cloud‑native distributed systems
• Proficiency in Java, Python, Node.js or Ruby/Rails
• Knowledge of microservices, Kubernetes, Docker
• Experience with AI‑powered applications and LLMs
• Familiarity with healthcare interoperability standards (FHIR, HL7)
• Understanding of HIPAA compliance
