About the role
Larsen & Toubro Ltd. seeks a Senior Design Engineer in the MEP (PHE) team to design plumbing and public health engineering systems focused on water efficiency, sustainability, and hygiene compliance. The role develops water supply, drainage, and stormwater layouts, performs hydraulic calculations, and coordinates with civil and architectural teams to ensure IS code compliance. Chennai, on-site, hybrid schedule with occasional client and vendor interactions.
What you’ll do
- Develop water supply, drainage, and stormwater system layouts
- Perform hydraulic calculations and sizing of tanks and pumps
- Coordinate with civil and architectural teams for service routing
- Ensure compliance with IS codes and local regulations
What you’ll bring
- 5-8 years PHE design experience
- Experience with HAP, TRACE, AutoCAD/Revit
- Proficient in English and local language
