About the role
Mask Design Engineering team at SanDisk creates and optimizes mask layouts for analog, digital, and mixed-signal ICs. The Senior Mask Design Engineer will lead layout design, perform DRC/LVS verification, and collaborate with circuit designers, process engineers, and integration teams. Bangalore, India, on-site, 5‑day work week.
What you’ll do
- Create and optimize mask layouts for analog, digital, and mixed-signal ICs
- Perform DRC, LVS, and reliability verification to ensure design rule compliance
- Collaborate closely with circuit designers, process engineers, and integration teams
- Guide and mentor junior engineers on best practices
What you’ll bring
- 7+ years mask design and layout engineering experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or VLSI Design
- Proficiency with Cadence Virtuoso, Synopsys Calibre, and Mentor Graphics
- Experience with analog, digital, and mixed-signal IC mask layouts
- Ability to perform DRC, LVS, and reliability checks
- Strong understanding of semiconductor fabrication processes and design rules
- Mentorship experience guiding junior engineers
