About the role

AI-forward UX organization at NetApp supports hundreds of engineers across global products. The Senior UI/UX Designer leads ideation, creates high‑fidelity prototypes in Figma, and drives AI‑enhanced design decisions, quantifying impact on productivity and quality. Works onsite in Bangalore, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to evolve design systems and ensure responsible AI usage.

What you’ll do

• Lead design and research work across multiple product themes
• Create and maintain design systems and high‑fidelity mockups
• Collaborate with engineers to inform design decisions using web tech
• Apply responsible AI practices, prompting strategies, and bias mitigation
• Quantify AI impact on time saved, quality, and revenue growth
• Facilitate ideation sessions and present design rationales
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to align UX priorities
• Mentor junior designers and contribute to UX strategy

What you’ll bring

• 8+ years designing enterprise product experiences
• Portfolio demonstrating advanced UI/UX work
• Expertise in Figma for low to high fidelity prototypes
• Strong communication and ideation leadership
• Experience influencing multi‑theme design and research
• Proven AI tool usage (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT) with measurable impact
• Knowledge of web technologies like CSS, Angular, React
• Ability to balance concurrent projects across teams

Education

Master's degree in design, human-computer interaction or equivalent professional experience
