About the role

Wells Fargo seeks a Senior Information Security Engineer in Hyderabad, India, to lead incident response and conduct digital forensics for security events. The role involves designing secure solutions, performing risk assessments, and consulting on internal projects to ensure policy compliance. This full-time position operates under a Hybrid work model.

What you’ll do

• Lead or participate in computer security incident response activities
• Conduct technical investigation of security incidents and post-incident digital forensics
• Provide security consulting on medium projects for internal clients
• Design, document, test, and maintain moderately complex security solutions
• Review and correlate security logs
• Identify security vulnerabilities and perform risk assessments
• Utilize subject matter knowledge to implement information security components
• Collaborate with peers and managers to resolve issues

What you’ll bring

• 4+ years of Information Security Engineering experience
• Experience administering Proofpoint Email Security solutions
• Experience with FireEye/Mandiant Email Security platforms
• Working knowledge of CrowdStrike Falcon, SEP, and WinMagic SecureDoc
• PowerShell or Python scripting experience

Nice to have

• CISSP, GIAC, GSEC, CEH, Security+, or equivalent certifications
• Experience within Banking or Financial Services environments
• Knowledge of Microsoft Defender, Exchange Online Protection, and SASE concepts
