About the role
Application Security Team at Wells Fargo focuses on securing the software development lifecycle across the enterprise. The Senior Information Security Engineer leads incident response, designs and implements security solutions, and defines non‑functional security requirements while collaborating with developers and architects. Role is based in Bengaluru with a hybrid work model, three days onsite per week, and includes opportunities to influence security standards and tooling.
What you’ll do
- Lead incident response for moderately complex security events
- Design, document, test, and maintain security solutions for networking, cryptography, cloud, and applications
- Develop and manage non‑functional security requirements and security coding guidelines
- Review security logs and perform risk assessments
- Collaborate with Application Security Champions, architects, and development teams
- Integrate security requirements into CI/CD pipelines
What you’ll bring
- 4+ years Information Security Engineering experience
- 3+ years Secure Development Lifecycle Management
- Experience with NIST SSDF, OWASP ASVS
- Proficiency in Python or JavaScript scripting
- Knowledge of Azure and Google Cloud platforms
- Certified CISSP, CSSLP, or CEH
