Enterprise Application Architect

About the role

Enterprise Application Architecture team at Kyndryl designs and modernizes mission‑critical application ecosystems for global enterprises. The role defines target‑state roadmaps, governance frameworks, and integration strategies while guiding hybrid‑cloud, AI‑enabled, and microservices solutions. Works closely with business, product, and engineering stakeholders across Mumbai and Bangalore, operating on‑site with a hybrid‑friendly culture.

What you’ll do

• Define enterprise architecture standards and roadmaps
• Lead architecture reviews and ensure compliance
• Guide modernization initiatives and API‑first strategies
• Partner with product owners to shape vision and MVP scope
• Support AI‑enabled transformation and responsible AI adoption
• Evaluate emerging technologies and advise build/buy decisions
• Mentor architects and development teams
• Develop business cases and executive presentations

What you’ll bring

• 10+ years enterprise application architecture
• experience with cloud platforms Azure/AWS/GCP
• expertise in Java/.NET/Node.js/Python
• designing microservices, event‑driven and serverless architectures
• API design and integration patterns
• knowledge of AI‑enabled application workflows
• lead architecture assessments and governance
