Senior Test Engineer SAP BTP Testing

About the role

Computacenter’s GIS business unit Enterprise Integration team ensures reliable, scalable integration solutions across enterprise systems. The Senior Test Engineer designs and executes end‑to‑end integration test cases for SAP BTP Integration Suite, validates APIs, message flows and data mappings, and supports SIT/UAT cycles. Bangalore, on‑site, hybrid schedule as needed.

What you’ll do

• Design and execute test cases for A2A and B2B integration scenarios
• Validate API integrations, message flows and payload transformations
• Perform functional, regression and negative testing
• Ensure data consistency and mapping accuracy across systems
• Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to identify defects and verify fixes
• Maintain test documentation, execution reports and defect logs
• Support SIT/UAT cycles and release validation activities
• Contribute to continuous improvement of testing practices

What you’ll bring

• 7+ years testing experience
• 5-6 years enterprise integration/middleware testing
• Experience with SAP BTP Integration Suite or SAP PI/PO
• Strong knowledge of REST and SOAP APIs
• Proficiency with JSON and XML payloads
• Hands‑on with API testing tools like Postman or SOAP UI
• Test case design, execution and defect tracking
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies
