The Senior Software Test Engineer, HIL Test builds and automates hardware‑in‑the‑loop test frameworks, creates test plans, and leads a team of HIL engineers to ensure robust validation of embedded software. Bengaluru, India, on‑site role with hybrid collaboration across global development teams.

What you’ll do

• Review software requirements and define test specifications
• Create and execute automated HIL test suites using Python frameworks
• Develop test plans, metrics, and protocols for validation
• Analyze measurement data and diagnose faults
• Lead and mentor a team of HIL test engineers
• Coordinate with embedded software, systems engineering, and hardware teams
• Implement test automation toolchains (Jenkins, CI/CD)
• Support cybersecurity and battery management system testing

What you’ll bring

• 9+ years of experience
• B.E./B.Tech/M.Tech in Electrical/Electronics
• Proficient in Python and test automation frameworks
• Strong knowledge of CAN protocol and UDS diagnostics
• Experience with Vector toolchains (CANoe, CANape)
• Understanding of ASPICE and ISO26262 processes
• Hands‑on with embedded C and microcontrollers
• 2+ years leading/mentoring QA/test engineers
