Senior Associate - Emerging Lead

About the role

The Senior Associate - Emerging Lead in State Street's Regulatory Reporting division supports the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual filings to U.S. regulators, including Federal Reserve, Regulatory Capital, TIC, and Regulation K reports. Day-to-day work involves preparing schedules and work papers, analyzing financial data, performing reconciliations and edit checks, processing Moody's Risk Authority, and maintaining documentation. This full-time role is based in Hyderabad, India.

What you’ll do

• Complete and accurate preparation of weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual regulatory reporting (e.g., FR Y2314, Call Report, FR Y9LP, FFIEC 030)
• Prepare initial schedules and reports, including primary data provider capture points and work paper preparations
• Analyze financial data to complete filings, understand fluctuations, and uncover potential inaccuracies
• Perform edit check reviews and follow up on applicable discrepancies
• Perform reconciliations across products, reports, and schedules
• Execute source system data reconciliation versus General Ledger
• Prepare monthly management reports and trends on capital adequacy
• Process Moody's Risk Authority monthly, including manual system entries, data extractions, data quality checks, and reconciliations

What you’ll bring

• CA / CPA with 5-8 years of experience in banking or financial services, or MBA with relevant experience
• Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills
• Proven track record of successful project execution
• Ability to multi-task and work under high-pressure deadlines
• Ability to reprioritize timely
• Strong attention to detail
