About the role

Qualcomm Hardware Engineering team drives next‑generation Snapdragon CPU designs. The role develops low‑power ASIC concepts, performs timing and power analysis, and collaborates with RTL, physical, and automation groups to optimize performance. Bangalore office, on‑site work model, relocation assistance available.

What you’ll do

  • Develop low‑power ASIC flow and perform power analysis
  • Create design of experiments and compare results to improve quality
  • Collaborate with RTL, physical, and automation teams for optimization
  • Tabulate metrics for analysis and reporting
  • Debug ASIC implementations and resolve performance issues

What you’ll bring

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant engineering field
  • 4+ years hardware engineering experience (or equivalent)
  • Master's degree with 3+ years experience (or equivalent)
  • PhD with 2+ years experience (or equivalent)

Nice to have

  • Low‑power design and checks using PrimeTime/PrimePower
  • STA with PrimeTime and PTPX
  • PowerArtist, synthesis tools with DCT/DCG or RC/RCP
  • Perl/Tcl scripting
  • Understanding of multiple power domains and UPF/CPF
  • CPU micro‑architecture knowledge
  • Place and route tool expertise
