Lead Business Analyst

About the role

C&IB Data Strategy team at Iris Software drives data-driven transformation for banking clients. The Lead Business Analyst defines business problems, maps data flows, and creates target-state models while partnering with data architects and product teams. Works from the Gurugram office at least three days a week, collaborating with senior stakeholders across payments and cash management.

What you’ll do

• Lead discovery with C&IB, Operations, Data and Technology stakeholders
• Analyze and document current-state data flows and business processes
• Develop target-state process flows, data models, and business rules
• Facilitate workshops and create visual artefacts such as workflow diagrams
• Partner with data architects and engineers to translate needs into scalable solutions
• Establish BA standards and reusable templates for the Data Strategy capability

What you’ll bring

• 8+ years business analysis experience
• Strong C&IB/Transaction Banking domain expertise
• Payments or cash management background
• Proven data mapping, lineage, and quality skills
• SQL proficiency for data analysis
• Stakeholder management and workshop facilitation
• Ability to work onsite in Gurugram at least 3 days/week

Nice to have

• CBAP or PMI-PBA certification
• Agile methodology experience
