Lead Business Analyst

About the role

MUFG Pension & Market Services Business Analysis team drives technology and business change initiatives across the organization. The Lead Business Analyst defines quality standards, mentors junior analysts, and partners with project managers to plan and deliver analysis components, including requirements definition and business process improvement. Based in India, on-site work model, the role also leads stakeholder engagement and supports recruitment of new analysts.

What you’ll do

• Set quality standards for the analysis team and mentor junior analysts
• Support project managers in planning and delivering analysis components
• Create and maintain Business Analysis service and skills catalogues
• Design and implement tools, templates, and processes for the BA function
• Oversee recruitment of Business and Technical Analysts as needed
• Conduct situation investigation, problem analysis, and root cause analysis
• Facilitate capture, definition, and prioritisation of business requirements through workshops
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure business acceptance of solutions

What you’ll bring

• 10+ years business analysis experience
• Proven experience with Agile and formal project management methodologies
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Demonstrated leadership and mentorship of analysis teams
• Risk management expertise
• Ability to model and improve business processes
• Experience creating and maintaining service catalogues
• Relevant business analysis qualifications
