Senior Software Engineer, Anaplan Applications

What you’ll do

• Design, build, test, deploy and maintain enterprise‑scale Anaplan models
• Translate functional requirements into lists, hierarchies, modules, formulas and UX pages
• Develop efficient formulas and optimize model performance
• Configure model calendars, versions, subsets and user permissions
• Create intuitive UX experiences including worksheets, dashboards and reports
• Integrate data via imports, exports, APIs and ETL platforms
• Prepare unit‑test cases, support UAT and manage ALM processes
• Monitor model size, calculation time and user experience
• Mentor junior model builders and conduct peer reviews
• Participate in sprint planning, stand‑ups, demos and retrospectives

What you’ll bring

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in information systems, engineering, finance, business, data analytics or related field
• 3-5 years hands‑on Anaplan model‑building experience
• Anaplan Certified Solution Architect certification
• Strong understanding of multidimensional model design and calculations
• Experience with Anaplan UX, security, imports/exports and ALM
• Proven ability to diagnose and improve model performance
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting and documentation skills
• Effective written and verbal communication

Nice to have

• Experience with centralized Anaplan Data Hub
• Familiarity with Anaplan APIs, CloudWorks, Anaplan Connect
• Background in sales, territory, quota or financial planning
• Agile delivery team experience
• Knowledge of data governance, audit controls and SOX compliance
• Mentoring or leading technical reviews
• SQL and data warehouse knowledge
