Senior Application Architect – Assistant Vice President at State Street’s Bangalore team drives the end‑to‑end modernization of a VC++ investment accounting platform to a cloud‑native Java microservices architecture. The role defines macro and micro architecture, leads migration patterns, and ensures high‑throughput, low‑latency transaction processing with event‑driven design. Bangalore, India – On‑site, 3 days per week.

What you’ll do

• Define and evolve architecture for a distributed, cloud‑native investment accounting platform
• Design modular microservices with domain‑driven boundaries
• Establish event‑driven patterns for real‑time processing
• Define data architecture and integration across IBOR/ABOR domains
• Lead modernization of legacy VC++ systems to Java services
• Guide teams on translating low‑level C++ constructs to scalable Java patterns
• Architect high‑throughput transaction processing and cache‑driven designs
• Implement cloud‑native solutions with containerization, orchestration, and DevSecOps
