Assistant General Manager, Business Finance

About the role

Assistant General Manager, Business Finance on Renew's EPC finance team. Leads financial controls, budgeting, reporting and risk management for solar and wind projects, collaborating with legal, tax, treasury and accounting. Gurugram, on-site, full-time.

What you’ll do

• Provide transparent project performance reporting against budget
• Prepare accurate forecasts incorporating risks and opportunities
• Ensure compliance with commercial terms and manage contract penalties
• Organize project reviews and coordinate close-out processes
• Lead monthly financial reviews, revenue recognition and margin optimization
• Collaborate with legal, tax, treasury and accounting to mitigate financial risks

What you’ll bring

• 12-18 years experience in business finance for infrastructure/energy/EPC
• Expertise in budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
• Strong grasp of project controlling, commercial contracts and risk management
• Proficiency with ERP systems and project management tools
• Knowledge of taxation, accounting principles and foreign exchange dynamics
• Excellent stakeholder reporting and communication skills
