About the role

Head of Engineering at Ottimate leads the engineering organization across India, US, Canada, and Mexico. With a cloud‑first mindset, the role drives culture, code quality, and operational excellence while scaling high‑performing teams. The leader collaborates with directors in a matrix structure, mentors managers, and shapes talent strategy to attract and retain top engineers. Responsibilities include setting best practices, guiding architecture, owning India operations, and partnering with product, customer success, and HR to align global goals. The position requires 12+ years of experience, proven ability to build and lead large engineering teams, and a strong background in full‑stack or DevOps with Python and AWS. Travel to the US at least once a year is expected.
