BIM Design Engineer

About the role

Egis’ Buildings team in Bengaluru builds intelligent infrastructure to meet climate goals. The BIM Design Engineer – ELV creates detailed BIM models for electrical, lighting, and vertical transportation, coordinating with architects, structural and MEP teams to resolve clashes and ensure code compliance. The role delivers accurate 3‑D models, technical drawings, and documentation, supporting project delivery and BIM coordination meetings. On‑site in Bengaluru with a focus on sustainable, high‑performance building design.

What you’ll do

• Create and maintain detailed BIM models for ELV systems
• Coordinate ELV with other disciplines to resolve clashes
• Prepare technical drawings and specifications per Indian codes
• Conduct clash detection and coordination analysis
• Provide BIM updates and support project delivery
• Maintain organized project files and documentation
• Participate in BIM coordination meetings
• Ensure model accuracy and compliance

What you’ll bring

• 3-7 years BIM design experience
• Proficiency in Revit or ArchiCAD
• Strong ELV systems knowledge (electrical, lighting, vertical transport)
• AutoCAD and 3D modeling skills
• MEP coordination and clash detection experience
• Knowledge of Indian building codes (NBC)
• Navisworks or similar software
• Excellent documentation and organizational skills
