About the role
Seeking experienced Java L2 Support Engineer for Hyderabad offshore team. Provide 24x5 rotating support, handle incidents, collaborate with onshore developers, maintain core services, and participate in scrum meetings. Strong communication, self‑starter, proactive, organized.
What you’ll do
- Provide Level 2 support for core services during rotating 24x5 shifts.
- Escalate issues to onshore L3 team only when necessary.
- Track and document all issues, including resolution steps.
- Lead weekly on‑call reviews and ensure proper hand‑offs.
- Collaborate with onshore developers on development tasks.
- Participate in scrum meetings during US overlap hours.
- Execute lifecycle management and maintenance tasks.
- Coordinate with onshore points of contact.
What you’ll bring
- 5+ years of Java and Spring Boot development experience.
- Proficient with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL).
- Experience with GitHub version control.
- Strong communication and problem‑solving skills.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with Python or JavaScript.
- Experience with Kafka, MongoDB, or Snowflake.
- Ability to work in rotating 24x5 shifts.
