Vice President, Product Control

About the role

Wells Fargo seeks a Vice President, Product Control to lead complex risk analytics and product control initiatives in Bengaluru. The role involves managing daily P&L production, stress testing, and regulatory reporting while mentoring junior analysts. This is a full-time, on-site position based in India.

What you’ll do

• Lead cross-functional initiatives for daily P&L production, attribution, and balance sheet substantiation
• Review and analyze complex programming models and financial challenges including reconciliation breaks
• Own the end-to-end control framework for financial products such as derivatives and structured products
• Partner with Front Office, Risk, and Operations for new product onboarding and risk-adjusted performance reviews
• Lead internal and external audit engagements and support regulatory reporting like Volcker and FRTB
• Identify and implement control enhancements, automation opportunities, and data governance improvements
• Serve as a mentor to junior analysts and lead project teams within the product control function
• Make decisions in complex product strategies requiring understanding of business unit projects and regulatory responses

What you’ll bring

• 5+ years of Risk Analytics experience
• CA/CFA/FRM or higher in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business
• Deep understanding of Derivative Products and risk measures
• Experience supporting Trading businesses
