About the role

Caterpillar Inc. seeks a Senior IT Analyst Applications to join the Applications Development & Intelligence Automation team in Bangalore, working onsite five days a week. The role involves leading the analysis, architecture, and development of enterprise .NET solutions while providing technical mentorship and oversight. You will collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable system designs and ensure software quality across the SDLC.

What you’ll do

  • Lead analysis, architecture, design, and development of Enterprise solutions
  • Provide technical design implementation mentorship and oversight to development teams
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and architects to translate requirements into technical solutions
  • Develop high-level product specifications focusing on system integration and feasibility
  • Build and improve software architecture based on requirements and design elements
  • Analyze and improve stability, scalability, performance, security, and sustainability of products
  • Design and develop common components, services, and frameworks for Application Development Teams
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to develop POCs and implement CI/CD platforms

What you’ll bring

  • 5-7 years hands-on experience in Enterprise application Development and integration
  • 5-7 years .NET Development experience (.NET Core, C#, ASP, MVC)
  • 5-7 years Web Design experience (HTML, XML, JavaScript, CSS)
  • 5-7 years Web Service and API Design experience (SOAP, REST)
  • 5-7 years database modeling and design (MS SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL)
  • Finance background (Qualified CA, CMA, MBA) or Engineering/Supply Chain degree
  • Experience with Agile Scrum, Waterfall, SSRS, RDLC, and multi-tier systems
  • Knowledge of GIT, TFS, Azure, and legacy/data migration
