About the role

Olympus Data Reconciliation and Engineering team at Citi builds enterprise‑scale AI/ML capabilities for financial data reconciliation. The Lead AI/ML Data Scientist drives full‑lifecycle model development, from design and training to deployment and production monitoring, partnering with engineering and business stakeholders. Chennai, Hybrid work model, relocation assistance available.

What you’ll do

• Design, build, and deploy AI/ML and generative models
• Lead end‑to‑end model lifecycle and production integration
• Analyze large financial datasets for optimization insights
• Define ML roadmaps with cross‑functional teams
• Create visualizations and strategic recommendations for senior leaders
• Collaborate with engineering for scalable model deployment
• Identify technology risks and develop mitigation strategies
• Maintain documentation and knowledge transfer

What you’ll bring

• 10+ years AI/ML development in financial services
• Expert Python, R, SQL
• Experience with LangGraph, LangChain, ADK
• MLOps with Airflow, Kubernetes, Docker
• Distributed computing Spark, Hadoop
• Cloud platforms AWS S3, Redshift, SageMaker
• Data reconciliation and ETL pipelines
