System Engineering Program Manager, Hardware

About the role

Quest Global Engineering team drives innovative hardware solutions for complex product environments. The System Engineering Program Manager leads end‑to‑end subsystem development, defines specifications, and coordinates hardware, software, procurement and supply‑chain teams. Based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India (with additional Singapore presence) and works on-site. This senior role shapes technical strategy, manages timelines and risks, and mentors engineering talent.

What you’ll do

• Own and deliver complete subsystem development
• Lead cross‑functional teams across hardware, software, procurement and supply chain
• Define system specifications and hardware architecture
• Drive system engineering activities including design, integration and validation
• Manage program timelines, risks and dependencies
• Collaborate with stakeholders and suppliers to meet product goals and cost targets
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams
• Drive continuous improvement in system design and development processes

What you’ll bring

• 12+ years engineering hardware product development
• Proven subsystem development from concept to production
• Strong mechanical and electrical engineering background
• Experience in semiconductor equipment or high‑precision inspection systems
• Ability to lead cross‑functional hardware/software teams
• Knowledge of supply‑chain and procurement processes
• Advanced technical or program management certifications (e.g., PMP)
• Demonstrated system architecture and performance evaluation expertise
