About the role
Caterpillar’s Applications Development & Intelligence Automation team in Bangalore seeks a Senior IT Analyst to support Servigistics SPM operations and the SPM 14 upgrade. The role involves gathering business requirements, configuring supply chain modules, and providing production support for service parts planning. This is an on-site position requiring a 5-day-a-week schedule with specific evening hours.
What you’ll do
- Gather and document business requirements for Service Parts Planning and Forecasting
- Configure and maintain Servigistics SPM modules including inventory and optimization
- Support SPM 14 upgrade planning, testing, and validation activities
- Analyze forecast accuracy, stocking policies, and service levels
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide functional support
- Conduct gap analysis between current state and SPM 14 capabilities
- Coordinate data validation, reconciliation, and post-upgrade support
- Prepare functional documentation, SOPs, and conduct user training
What you’ll bring
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Servigistics SPM
- Strong functional knowledge of Service Parts Management
- Experience with Demand forecasting and Inventory optimization
- Experience supporting or participating in SPM 14 upgrade
- Experience in a production support environment
