About the role
Goken’s Pune engineering team delivers innovative mobility solutions by partnering with OEMs to accelerate product development. This Design Engineer role focuses on developing bumper fascia layouts using CATIA, ensuring part packaging meets performance targets while optimizing efficiency and reducing costs. The position is based in Pune, Maharashtra, India.
What you’ll do
- Apply engineering principles to develop layout for mobility systems
- Develop Layout in CATIA to accommodate part packaging
- Ensure parts achieve performance targets
- Utilize Part Design, Generative shape design, Drafting & Assembly Design workbenches
- Search for ways to increase overall efficiency
- Reduce design and parts costs
What you’ll bring
- Minimum BE/B-Tech in Engineering
- 1-4 years relevant industry experience
- Experience with 3-D modeling software (CATIA V5 or V6)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
