About the role

Engineering Project Director (Level 7a) leads AIN-based Project Controls network at Amgen, building scalable capital project capabilities. Drives analytics-driven delivery across cost management, source-to-pay, and equipment analytics. Leads global teams, integrates digital solutions (Power BI, automation, risk analytics), standardizes processes, improves productivity, cycle time, and data quality. Acts as liaison across engineering, finance, and stakeholders, ensuring compliance and proactive data output.

What you’ll do

• Lead global AIN Project Controls team delivering cost, source-to-pay, analytics services.
• Drive digital solutions (Power BI, automation, risk analytics) for data-driven decisions.
• Standardize and scale controls processes, tools, data structures across regions.
• Reduce cycle times in cost management, reporting, invoicing workflows.
• Build and maintain robust data and master data environment for accurate delivery.
• Align cross-functional stakeholders across engineering, finance, and operations.
• Communicate priorities, coordinate across cultures, time zones, and regions.
• Champion innovation and execution excellence within organization.
• Oversee high-performing teams and advance project controls vision.
• Serve as accountable leader for India Project Controls capability center.
