About the role

NTT DATA seeks a Principal Systems Design / Architecture Engineer to lead ServiceNow solution architecture across global locations including Bangalore, Cape Town, Madrid, and Bucharest. This hybrid role involves translating business requirements into scalable designs, defining platform governance, and guiding technical teams on major implementations. The position requires deep expertise in ServiceNow modules and integration frameworks.

What you’ll do

• Lead end-to-end architecture for ServiceNow implementations across ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, SPM, or other modules
• Translate business needs into robust, scalable, and maintainable ServiceNow designs
• Define and enforce ServiceNow development standards, best practices, and governance models
• Serve as the technical lead on major ServiceNow projects and enhancements
• Design and oversee integrations between ServiceNow and third-party systems
• Leverage ServiceNow Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, and automation frameworks

What you’ll bring

• 7+ years of experience working with ServiceNow
• At least 3 years in a Solution Architect role
• Strong expertise across core ServiceNow modules (ITSM, ITOM, HRSD)
• Deep understanding of ServiceNow architecture, security model, and data hierarchy
• Experience with scripting (JavaScript, Glide API)
• Proven experience designing enterprise-scale ServiceNow solutions
