About the role

Coupa Software's Platform Engineering team builds the core spend management platform that powers AI-driven insights for millions of buyers and suppliers. As a Senior Lead Software Engineer you will design and develop reusable architecture components, lead major functional upgrades, and provide technical guidance and mentoring across engineering teams. Pune, India, on-site role focusing on enterprise architecture and cross‑team collaboration.

What you’ll do

• Lead design and development of reusable architecture components
• Drive major functional upgrades for the Coupa Application Platform
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to engineers and designers
• Collaborate with product, integration, services, support, and operations teams
• Review and create feature designs for releases and defect analysis

What you’ll bring

• 10+ years system implementation experience in large IT organization
• 8+ years developing business applications
• 5+ years defining high‑level design for business domains
• 5+ years interpreting and predicting outcomes of business processes
• Broad knowledge of middleware/application integration products
• Proficiency in enterprise architecture and software development lifecycle methodologies
