Cybersecurity Manager

About the role

PwC’s Cybersecurity and Privacy services team in Airoli, Mumbai, helps clients implement effective cybersecurity programs that protect against threats. As a Cybersecurity Manager, you will provide comprehensive security solutions across domains, maintaining protection of client systems and data. Day-to-day work includes round-the-clock threat monitoring, alert triage, incident validation, escalation, post-incident analysis, and developing incident management policies. The role requires 2–5 years of relevant experience and a relevant bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

What you’ll do

• Round-the-clock threat monitoring and detection
• Analysis of suspicious, malicious, and abnormal behavior
• Alert triage, initial assessment, incident validation, severity and urgency determination
• Prioritization of security alerts and creation of incidents per SOPs
• Reporting and escalation to stakeholders
• Post-incident analysis
• Consistent incident triage and recommendations using playbooks
• Develop and maintain incident management and incident response policies and procedures

What you’ll bring

• B.Tech/MCA/MBA with IT background or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Cybersecurity, or Computer Science
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in SOC/Incident Management/Incident Response/Threat Detection Engineering/Vulnerability Management/SOC platform management/Automation/Asset Integration/Threat Intel Ma
• At least one mandatory certification: Certified SOC Analyst, CHFI, CEH, CompTIA Security+, CompTIA CySA+, GCIH, or equivalent
• Experience in round-the-clock threat monitoring and detection
• Ability to perform alert triage, initial assessment, incident validation, severity and urgency assessment
• Experience prioritizing security alerts and creating incidents per SOPs
• Experience reporting and escalating to stakeholders
• Experience conducting post-incident analysis and consistent incident triage using playbooks

Nice to have

• Product certifications on SOC security tools such as SIEM, Vulnerability Management, DAM, UBA, SOAR, NBA, etc.
• SOC - Splunk experience
