About the role
Product Engineering team at Jabil drives development and validation of manufacturing processes for electronic products. The Lead Product Validation Engineer acts as technical lead, overseeing verification of new and existing products, mentoring site resources, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams to ensure manufacturability, quality, and cost‑effectiveness. Based in Ranjangaon, India, on‑site role with occasional travel to other sites.
What you’ll do
- Lead verification of lower‑complexity products and support high‑complexity projects
- Mentor regional and site engineers on process techniques
- Analyze root causes and drive process improvements
- Coordinate line reconfigurations and machine moves
- Serve as liaison with suppliers and customers on quality issues
- Develop test plans and documentation from design to production
- Identify risks and communicate to business leadership
- Ensure compliance with safety, health, and security policies
What you’ll bring
- 8-10 years experience in EMS or equivalent
- Advanced Diploma/Bachelor/Master in engineering
- Hands‑on experience with product validation processes
- Knowledge of DFM/A, FMEA, IPC
- Experience with NPI and BOM management
- Proficiency in basic statistics and DOE
- Ability to write technical reports
- Strong communication skills
