About the role
Risk Consulting – MENA FSRM Credit Risk team at EY helps financial institutions manage credit, market, and regulatory risks. The Senior Consultant designs risk frameworks, validates models, mentors junior staff, and communicates progress to stakeholders. Kochi, India, on-site work model.
What you’ll do
- Design and assess credit risk policies, frameworks, and methodologies
- Conduct model audits, validation, and development for banking book portfolios
- Monitor project progress, manage risks, and communicate status to stakeholders
- Mentor and review work of junior consultants
- Prepare documentation and presentations for complex risk concepts
What you’ll bring
- Graduate or Master's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics or related field
- 3+ years of credit risk model development, validation, or audit experience
- Proficiency in Python, SAS, SQL, R, and Excel
- Strong statistical and econometric foundation
- Experience with regulatory frameworks such as BASEL, CCAR, IFRS9
