Deputy Manager / Manager Circularity Management

About the role

Circular Management team at Maruti Suzuki India focuses on material circularity to reduce waste and carbon emissions. The role develops and implements circularity projects, coordinates with government regulators, and digitizes traceability systems. Based in New Delhi, on-site work required, with cross‑functional collaboration across manufacturing and supply chain functions.

What you’ll do

• Develop strategies for material circularity projects to reduce waste and carbon footprint
• Coordinate with government agencies on circularity regulations
• Digitize processes to ensure traceability of recycled materials
• Collaborate with functions to increase recycled material usage in automotive components
• Benchmark circularity practices against Indian and global companies

What you’ll bring

• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Metallurgy, Production, Automobile or Electrical
• MBA (desirable)
• 5+ years experience in raw material sourcing, processing or product development
• Knowledge of ferrous, steel, non‑ferrous and plastics commodities
• Experience with Extended Producer Responsibility regulations
• Experience calculating GHG emissions and emission factors
• Experience leading material circularity projects
• Strong data analysis and presentation skills
