About the role

The Manager - Branch Operations - Express Logistics role at P & O's Express Business, Operations department is based in Bhiwandi, Maharashtra, India, and operates on-site. The Branch Manager owns branch KRAs and KPIs, leading daily end-to-end operations, developing and executing the annual operating plan (AOP), and driving revenue and EBDITA through tightly controlled operations and cost management. Day-to-day duties include monitoring compliance, managing vendor and key account relationships, handling escalations, overseeing facilities and regulatory compliance, recruiting and training the branch team, and maintaining safety and quality standards.

What you’ll do

• Develop and present the branch AOP and execution plan to meet set targets
• Deliver AOP revenue and EBDITA through tightly controlled operations and cost for the branch
• Optimally utilize resources to grow the branch per short and long term growth strategies
• Develop operations plans on annual, quarterly, and monthly basis at branch level across service lines
• Monitor and execute seamless end-to-end operations daily ensuring compliance and exceeding customer expectations
• Develop peak season operations plan, including capacity building in terms of infrastructure and manpower
• Track, analyze and report MIS on a regular basis and provide updates in branch reviews through MOR
• Manage day-to-day administration of the branch in terms of facilities, local issues and regulatory compliance
