About the role
Global Engineering Services team at Amazon delivers world‑class MEP design for large‑scale commercial and residential developments. The MEP Design Engineer leads end‑to‑end design, performs advanced load calculations, creates detailed drawings, and coordinates across architectural, structural and civil disciplines using BIM tools. Bangalore office, on‑site work model, relocation assistance available.
What you’ll do
- Lead concept to construction documentation for HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, electrical and ELV systems
- Perform load, sizing and energy efficiency calculations
- Develop single‑line, schematic and riser diagrams
- Coordinate multidisciplinary clash detection and resolution
- Mentor junior engineers and enforce design standards
- Prepare technical specifications, BOQs and cost estimates
What you’ll bring
- 7-12 years progressive MEP design experience
- Bachelor's in Mechanical, Electrical or related engineering
- Experience on projects >5M sq ft
- Leadership of design teams
- Proficiency with Revit MEP, Navisworks, BIM 360
