About the role

Senior Engineer / Lead Engineer – ML leverages machine learning to improve manufacturing engineering and operations. Executes end‑to‑end projects, designs AI/ML models, automates MLOps workflows, validates performance, deploys models, ensures data security, documents processes, and stays current with ML advancements.

What you’ll do

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define manufacturing problems
• Design, develop, fine‑tune AI/ML models
• Automate workflows with MLOps tools
• Validate and benchmark model performance
• Deploy models into production with IT/AI teams
• Maintain monitoring for model accuracy
• Ensure data security and regulatory compliance
• Document workflows and lessons learned

What you’ll bring

• BS/MA Mechanical/Automobile/Production/Mechatronics Engineering
• 5+ yrs Automotive Manufacturing/Engineering
• 1+ yr AI/ML implementation in automotive
• 2+ end‑to‑end ML projects in text/image domain
• Strong Python programming
• Proficient in Scikit‑learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, XGBoost
• Solid stats, probability, linear algebra
• Data preprocessing, feature engineering, ETL, EDA
• MLOps platforms: MLflow, Kubeflow, Vertex AI, Azure ML
• SQL/NoSQL database experience
• Problem‑solving mindset
• Data annotation tools and MLOps workflows
• Domain‑specific AI use cases in manufacturing
