About the role
GlobalFoundries Credit Team safeguards the company's financial health by evaluating customer creditworthiness and managing risk. The Senior Credit Analyst conducts credit assessments, develops scoring models, and partners with finance, sales and operations to recommend terms and improve processes. Based in Penang with additional responsibilities for Bengaluru, this on-site role supports global teams across multiple regions.
What you’ll do
- Conduct credit assessments and financial analysis
- Recommend credit terms balancing risk and business goals
- Review and process credit hold release requests
- Prepare and maintain master credit exposure reporting
- Develop and enhance credit scoring models
- Partner with finance, sales and operations teams globally
- Monitor customer credit limits and identify risk mitigation strategies
- Drive process improvements through automation and AI initiatives
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance or related field
- 5+ years credit risk or analysis experience
- Strong financial statement analysis skills
- Advanced Excel and financial reporting proficiency
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management
- Ability to work with global, multi‑regional teams
Nice to have
- Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA or CFA
- Experience with ERP systems like SAP or Oracle
- Automation and AI‑driven process improvement experience
- Exposure to credit scoring model development
