About the role

System Reliability Engineering team at GE Vernova drives reliability for GridOS SaaS products, building automated cloud provisioning, golden‑path delivery pipelines, and follow‑the‑sun operational coverage. The Senior Manager leads SRE governance, approves releases, commands high‑severity incidents, and mentors a global SRE team while optimizing cloud cost and capacity. Hyderabad, Telangana, India, hybrid work model with relocation assistance.

What you’ll do

• Define and architect standardized cloud provisioning and golden‑path delivery platforms
• Establish enterprise SLOs/SLIs and follow‑the‑sun handover protocols
• Act as final authority for production releases and change management
• Build and mature SRE Center for Enablement to coach product teams
• Lead incident command for Sev1/Sev2 events and drive blameless post‑mortems
• Manage backup, disaster recovery, and cross‑region failover strategies
• Optimize cloud cost and perform long‑term capacity planning
• Mentor and develop a global SRE team

What you’ll bring

• 14+ years overall experience
• 8-10 years SRE or Platform Engineering leadership
• Masters in STEM or 4-year Bachelors +10 years relevant experience
• Deep expertise in AWS services (EC2,EKS,RDS,S3,IAM)
• Advanced Kubernetes and EKS multi‑region architecture
• ArgoCD and GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines
• IaC with Terraform and Ansible
• Observability with Prometheus,Grafana,Datadog or Splunk
