About the role
EY GDS AI & Data team helps clients solve complex business challenges by building modern, cloud‑native data platforms and AI‑ready architectures. As an Associate Director Data Architect you will engage C‑suite stakeholders, design end‑to‑end data solutions, lead pre‑sales and solution workshops, and drive large‑scale enterprise data transformations. Bengaluru office, on‑site work model, relocation assistance available.
What you’ll do
- Engage C‑suite stakeholders to define data strategy
- Design and architect cloud‑native data platforms
- Lead solution design workshops and respond to RFPs/RFIs
- Implement data modeling, governance, and observability frameworks
- Optimize performance and distributed compute workloads
- Integrate AI/ML capabilities into data platforms
- Provide pre‑sales expertise across Azure, AWS, GCP
- Mentor and guide delivery teams
What you’ll bring
- 16+ years industry experience
- 7+ years data architecture and analytics
- Deep expertise in Azure, AWS, GCP cloud ecosystems
- Hands‑on with Snowflake/Databricks and Azure Data Services
- Proficient in Python, PySpark, SQL, Kafka streaming
- Experience with Power BI and Tableau
- Familiarity with Azure Machine Learning, Cognitive Services, Azure OpenAI
- Pre‑sales and client‑facing consulting experience
