The role also develops and industrializes engineering tools and processes, mentors engineers, and represents the business in external technical events. Locations: Noida and Pallavaram; relocation assistance provided.

What you’ll do

  • Perform insulation coordination studies: determine temporary and transient overvoltage stresses on equipment and surge arrester energy ratings by simulation
  • Perform power system simulations (steady-state and EMT studies) for projects and tenders
  • Conduct network studies to confirm correct interaction between equipment, its control system, and the rest of the network
  • Create overall reliability and availability models for projects and report to the client
  • Calculate overall project losses and report to the client
  • Provide guidance and coordinate engineering tasks to meet project/tender requirements
