About the role
Global Investment Research (GIR) at Goldman Sachs provides fundamental equity, fixed income, and macro research to institutional clients. As a Research Business Analyst in Bengaluru, you will build and maintain financial models, analyze market data, and assist in drafting research reports for asset managers and capital markets. Bengaluru, on-site, Full-time, relocation assistance available.
What you’ll do
- Build and maintain basic financial models for covered and uncovered companies
- Analyze market share, macro trends, and cross‑sector data
- Perform statistical analysis of economic and company fundamentals
- Summarize conference calls and produce briefing notes
- Update monthly reports, marketing books, and weekly research shells
- Maintain daily valuation sheets and verify annual report data
- Assist in drafting and editing research reports
What you’ll bring
- Master's degree in finance, economics, accounting or related field
- Minimum 6 months of experience in buy side or sell side research
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
