About the role

Iris Software seeks a Senior Engineer to design and develop scalable enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Angular. The role involves defining API contracts, optimizing performance, and mentoring junior developers within a hybrid work model in Noida, UP, India. This position focuses on delivering high-quality technical solutions while fostering engineering excellence.

What you’ll do

Design and develop scalable enterprise applications using Java and Angular
Define API contracts and integration strategies for distributed systems
Develop reusable backend components and frontend state management solutions
Optimize application performance through caching and JVM optimization
Own end-to-end delivery of modules including testing and deployment readiness
Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to security and coding standards
Drive improvements in CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis

What you’ll bring

Java 17+ with Hibernate and JPA
Angular 14+ including NgRx and RxJS
Microservices architecture and REST APIs
Spring Boot and Spring Security (JWT/Oauth)
Experience with RabbitMQ or similar messaging middleware

Nice to have

Strong understanding of clean architecture and secure coding practices
Ability to optimize JVM performance and database tuning
Experience leading code reviews and ensuring engineering standards
Proven track record of mentoring junior developers
