Finance Operations Consultant

About the role

Finance Operations team at Accenture drives transformation of global finance and shared services operating models for G2000 clients. The Consultant leads end‑to‑end design, implementation and change management of finance GBS, SSC and operating model initiatives, shaping business cases and cost‑savings plans. Based in India (Gurugram, Mumbai, Bangalore or Hyderabad) with on‑site work at client locations as required, the role offers exposure to large‑scale finance transformation projects and collaboration with senior client leaders.

What you’ll do

• Drive sales pipeline and own finance GBS proposals
• Lead client conversations to define operating model and shared services solutions
• Design and blueprint finance operating models, location strategies and transition plans
• Manage project execution, status reporting and budget adherence
• Create cost‑transformation initiatives and value cases
• Supervise senior and junior analysts and consultants
• Collaborate with global teams to deliver end‑to‑end transformation
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities and tools

What you’ll bring

• 4-8 years finance operations experience
• MBA in Finance or CA or CMA
• Finance Operations Transformation expertise
• GBS and SSC setup knowledge
• Process maturity assessment (OTC, AP, RTR)
• Project and change management skills
• Client engagement and proposal development
• Knowledge of ERP and digital finance technologies
