Workday Finance Technical Integration Consultant

About the role

Workday India seeks a seasoned Finance Integration Consultant to design, build, and maintain end‑to‑end Workday Finance integrations. The role involves leveraging Workday Studio, EIBs, Core Connectors, and web services to deliver solutions for Order‑to‑Cash, Procure‑to‑Pay, General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Expenses, and Asset modules. Candidates will map and transform data, conduct testing and reconciliation, and collaborate closely with finance functional teams to translate business requirements into technical designs. They will also serve as the primary technical liaison for clients throughout pre‑sales, implementation, and post‑sale phases, troubleshooting issues and creating documentation, whitepapers, and best‑practice guides. Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills are essential, along with hands‑on experience in Workday Studio, EIBs, XML, XSLT, REST/SOAP, and a solid understanding of Workday Financial Management processes.

What you’ll do

• Design, build, and deploy Workday Finance integrations
• Develop O2C, P2P, GL, AP, AR, Expenses, and Asset integrations
• Perform data mapping, transformation, testing, and reconciliation
• Collaborate with finance teams to translate business requirements
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues during implementation
• Create and maintain integration design and technical documentation
• Serve as primary technical liaison for clients across pre‑sales, implementation, and post‑sale
• Lead improvements and enable sales and engineering processes
• Produce documentation, whitepapers, and supporting materials

What you’ll bring

• 4–12 years of technical or project implementation experience in finance
• 2–4 years hands‑on Workday Finance Integration (implementation projects)
• Strong expertise in Workday Studio
• Proficient with EIBs, Core Connectors, XML, XSLT, REST/SOAP
• Deep understanding of Workday Financial Management processes
• Excellent analytical and communication skills
