Assistant Property Manager (Technical)

About the role

Brightstone is redefining residential property management across India by enhancing resident satisfaction and property value. As an Assistant Property Manager (Technical) in Mumbai, you will oversee daily site operations, manage MEP systems, and lead maintenance staff to ensure seamless living experiences. This on-site role requires balancing technical expertise with vendor and client management.

What you’ll do

• Oversee building systems including fire/life safety, MEP, and critical utilities
• Manage hiring, training, and development of shift engineers and maintenance staff
• Monitor SLAs, KPIs, and budgeting controls for effective service delivery
• Conduct risk/root-cause analysis and implement corrective action plans
• Ensure compliance with safety codes, regulations, and company directives
• Coordinate with contractors, tenants, and engineers regarding operations
• Maintain asset documentation, defect liability trackers, and inventory control
• Submit invoices, follow up on payments, and manage vendor quotations

What you’ll bring

• Degree or Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or Marine Engineering
• Minimum 4-5 years of experience in Facility, Real Estate, Hotel, or Construction industries

Nice to have

• Experience in residential property management preferred
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills
• Excellent written and oral communication abilities
• Proven teamwork and management capabilities
• Ability to multitask efficiently under pressure
