About the role

Building Technology Systems team at WSP focuses on integrating ICT, audio‑visual, security and BMS into building designs using BIM. The BIM Engineer develops and maintains detailed BIM models, conducts clash detection, and supports project teams with best‑practice workflows. Role is based in Bengaluru with a hybrid work model, collaborating with architects and engineers across sites.

What you’ll do

  • Develop and maintain detailed BIM models for ICT, security, audio‑visual and telecommunications systems
  • Collaborate with design teams to ensure integration of building systems within the BIM environment
  • Conduct clash detection and resolution to minimize system conflicts
  • Provide technical support and guidance on BIM implementation and workflows
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency of BIM documentation, drawings and specifications
  • Assist in creating and executing BIM execution plans
  • Stay updated on BIM trends, technologies and software developments
  • Participate in project meetings, presentations and workshops, and mentor junior staff

What you’ll bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electronics & Communications, Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 4 years BIM coordination and management experience for building technology systems
  • Proficiency in BIM software such as Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD
  • Strong knowledge of building technology systems and their integration
  • Experience with clash detection and resolution processes
  • Excellent communication, collaboration and problem‑solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects concurrently
  • Familiarity with industry standards, codes and regulations
