About the role
Quest Global's engineering services team designs and validates piping systems for complex projects. The Technical Manager leads the creation and revision of P&IDs, PFDs, and plot plans, ensuring compliance with ASME, ASTM, and other codes while collaborating with engineers and project managers. Bengaluru, India, on-site work model, with a focus on accurate drafting and cross‑functional coordination.
What you’ll do
- Review and revise P&ID designs based on redline markups
- Create plot plans from 3D scans with correct equipment and piping representation
- Assign tags for equipment, instruments, and piping
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to meet project requirements
- Identify and document ambiguities and communicate to stakeholders
- Guide team members on technical clarifications
- Participate in project meetings and provide technical input
What you’ll bring
- 6-9 years of AutoCAD 2D drafting experience
- Familiarity with ASME, ASTM, EURO, CSA codes
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in mechanical or chemical engineering
- Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D and Plant 3D
- Strong problem‑solving mindset and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in diverse teams
- Adaptability to new tools and technologies
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
