About the role
Tekion is redefining automotive retail with a cloud-native, AI-native platform serving 1,700+ dealerships. As a Technical Program Manager in the CIO/PMO organization, you will partner with the CIO and leadership team on transformation strategy, build scalable program governance, and drive enterprise-wide AI transformation. You will establish sprint cadences, manage risks and dependencies, produce C-suite deliverables, and champion PMO maturity across teams. This full-time, on-site role is based in Chennai.
What you’ll do
- Partner directly with the CIO and his leadership team on critical transformation program strategy and delivery
- Build and run program governance structures that scale with Tekion's hyper growth
- Establish and continuously improve sprint cadence, story point estimation, Definition of Done, milestone tracking, etc.
- Identify and proactively manage risks, blockers, and escalation paths across complex, multi-team programs
- Drive structured program rollouts with defined scope, success metrics, and dependency management
- Produce C-suite facing deliverables: program status decks, OKR scorecards, quarterly business narratives, and business proposals
- Define and track PMO KPIs: delivery velocity, capacity utilization, and quality indicators
- Build and maintain dashboards in Jira, Confluence, and other AI tools for real-time program visibility
What you’ll bring
- 7+ years of technical program management experience with demonstrated ownership of complex, cross-functional technical programs
- Prior experience embedded in a PMO within a multinational company, operating across geographies, time zones, and cross-functional teams
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to present to senior leadership
- Proven track record delivering programs in enterprise technology environments (GTM, Finance, Data/AI, or similar)
- Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, and Agile/PDLC delivery frameworks
- Well-versed with AI LLM models and building skills/agents
- Ability to partner directly with the CIO and leadership team on critical transformation program strategy and delivery
- Ability to build and run program governance structures that scale with hyper growth
Nice to have
2-4 years of management consulting experience preferred at a recognized firm, with strong executive-facing communication and structured problem-solving skills
