ITOM Observability Senior Engineer

About the role

TechOps at Elanco builds and operates the global IT infrastructure and services. The Senior Engineer leads the design, implementation, and optimization of ServiceNow ITOM suite, including Discovery, Service Mapping, and Event Management, and creates integrations with tools like SolarWinds and Azure Monitor. Bangalore, India – Hybrid work model (3 days onsite).

What you’ll do

• Provide global technical ownership of ServiceNow ITOM suite
• Develop integrations with monitoring tools via IntegrationHub and APIs
• Design and build Business Service Maps and advanced dashboards
• Lead technical design and implementation of Event Management
• Create automated remediation workflows with Flow Designer
• Guide and review code for ITOM development team

What you’ll bring

• 5+ years IT Operations/infrastructure experience
• 3+ years ServiceNow ITOM development and architecture
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator
• Proficiency in JavaScript and Glide API

Nice to have

• ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (preferred)
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Knowledge of ITIL framework
