Equity Research Associate (Remote) – NextWave Consulting seeks a detail‑oriented research professional to conduct comprehensive analysis of investment banks and financial services firms. The role involves collaborating with onshore and offshore teams, performing quantitative and qualitative research using secondary sources, and building Excel‑based financial models and databases. The associate will prepare and present client reports in Excel and PowerPoint, draft concise qualitative summaries, and integrate proprietary datasets to deliver actionable insights. Candidates should have strong financial analysis skills, experience with balance sheet and P&L analysis, and familiarity with equities, fixed income, and capital markets. Advanced proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint, is essential, along with excellent communication and coordination abilities.
What you’ll do
- Collaborate effectively with both onshore and offshore team members and partners to ensure seamless project execution.
- Conduct thorough quantitative and qualitative research using secondary sources such as web searches, published financial statements, and specialized databases.
- Analyze gathered data, perform estimations, and integrate proprietary datasets to derive actionable insights.
- Develop, maintain, and manage financial databases and models in Excel.
- Prepare and present comprehensive client reports, ensuring adherence to process standards, primarily using Excel and PowerPoint.
- Draft clear, concise qualitative summaries to complement quantitative research outputs.
